Interactive IPA Chart with British Male voice

This video is an Interactive IPA Chart with a British Male voice with example words.

We have made three versions of the interactive IPA chart:

Interactive IPA chart with a British Male Voice (with example words)

This version of the interactive IPA chart includes example words and is embedded on this page above. It is designed to be used when practising individual sounds. If there is a sound that you are studying, you can click on that sound and you will hear that sound both in isolation and within and example word.

Interactive Phonetic chart with a British Male Voice (sounds only)

This video is designed to be used to spell out words phonetically to illustrate the correct pronunciation. Many dictionaries for English learners include the phonetic spellings of words. So with this video you can follow the phonetic spelling in the book and hear how the word should be pronounced.

Phonetic Chart with a British Male voice (with examples, not interactive.)

Finally this video version of the Interactive IPA chart is not interactive and just plays the sounds with example words. It goes through all the sounds stating with the vowels, then the diphthongs and then the two groups of consonants, consonant pairs and single consonants. If you just want to get an idea of all the sounds then this is the video to watch.

If you want to understand the Interactive IPA chart better you should also view our phonetic chart explained video or one of our videos on each of the sections: vowels sounds, diphthongs, consonant pairs and single consonants.
